When: This event is on going at the moment as we speak about it.
What happened: This Article talks about how the British rejected military actions which was a set back to Obama and how they are coping with everything.
Why this event is relevant: This Article is relevant because England is our alliance and they help us out in time of need and we do the same. For them to reject such at think has placed a big burden on Obama because now he is thinking about Syria becoming a threat to the us, and that is not good for anyone to hear at all.
Reaction: When I first heard that they might become a threat to us my blood ran cold because I don't want to see my family dying and other people as well, So in my mind I am still hoping they will work everything out.
Opinion : I think that Syria I just making a huge fuss about something the government doesn't want the people to know.
Connection: I chose this article because to me it seems like there is never really peace in the world and it its always the dog game eat or be eaten, everyone wants to be in power...

Article Title: With $50M pledge, Philadelphia schools begin rehiring
    Article Date: Friday, August 16, 2013 Local/State
Who: City of Philadelphia, State of Pennsylvania
    Where: Philadelphia, PA
    When: August 2013
What Happened: Nearly 4,000 school staff members have been laid off. Lots of schools have been close which means leaving students to not have education. Basically, since the city of Philadelphia have no money, they are asking for a $50M pledge so that students can get education. Plans for this to happen, supposedly the state will give the city to direct sale taxes to schools. Also, the mayor of Philadelphia says the city will borrow funds.
Why Is This Relevant: The author of this article wrote this to inform people about how the city of Philadelphia is at least trying to find a way for students to get education.
Reaction: My reaction was how do the city not have money? But I'm hearing that they are planning to build a $400M prison in the city of Philadelphia.
Opinion: I think that the government is being very selfish about not giving money to schools for students to have education. Also, even the state city council members who want portion of the money.
Connection: I chose this article because I think it's just sad to see that students who live in the same city as me not get education because of funding.

Who: this has to do with females
    Where: Washington
    When: Tuesday
What happened: the Supreme Court allowed more than a dozen texas abortions clinics to reopen without caring about the state law. If the law been allow to stand it would have caused 8 of the states abortion clinics to close. Then women would have to travel more than 150 miles to get an abortion.
Why this event is relevant: this is relevant because women should have to rights to say if they want an abortion or not.
Reaction: as I'm reading this I feel like texas should have never close abortion clinics because abortions happen everyday.
Opinion (I think..)I think no matter anywhere in the world abortions should be allowed.
