Article Title: US to deploy hundreds of troops in Afghanistan to fight Taliban

    Article Date: December 30, 2014

    Who: U.S Troops and Afghanistan

    Where: U.S to Afghanistan

    When: December 30, 2014

What happened: Hundreds of troops are to be deployed to Afghanistan to raid places within the territory. Many do not recommend this because many problems can occur from doing so.

Why this event is relevant: This is relevant because it has to do with the U.S. The second reason is because whatever these troops do might jeopardize the safety of multiple U.S citizens.

Reaction: I think that not so many troops should be deployed into Afghanistan because not everyone is guaranteed to come back. I think that the the people who assign the orders are to not send out hundreds but smaller highly trained operatives.

Opinion: I think that it is much easier for who is assigning the missions to feel less guilt or stress because they are not in the shoes of another soldier/troop. I also think that this decision should or should have been thought and discussed more.

Connection: I think that this relates to real life when people who are in charge that assign roles to different people. I think that this relates to society and how the ones who are in charge are ignorant to what the people who are being ordered thoughts or feelings. This also can relate to how people in charge are more than capable of making rash decisions.
