Directions: Your weekly current event is no longer filling in a form. You will free write your summary, reaction, opinion, and connection to Civics in two paragraphs.

This article is about Elizabeth Warren and Obama arguing. Obama feels that Elizabeth warren was motivated by politics in her battle against his propose pacific trade accord. He believes her argument don't stand the test of fact or scrutiny. Obama seemed most irritated at Ms. Warren’s suggestion that the trade pact could be used as a vehicle to undercut the financial overhaul that Mr. Obama signed in 2010. Obama believes that the arguments are based on fear. Obama says he understands the emotion behind it but when one thinks logically there is no real argument. Mrs. Warren has irritated some of her allies.
My reaction to this article is that they should debate in person about the issue instead of Obama saying things in an interview. Im most surprised that Obama is upset about something that Elizabeth said.
My opinion is I'm shocked Elizabeth has made a big name for herself. Why would she disagree with anything the president says? Obama has been dong a great job with making decisions for our country and does not need Warrens opinion or input.
I connect this to my campaign because I had to sell Elizabeth Warren. She was my candidate, she seemed to agree with Obama on a lot of issues. To read this article and see Obama talking about Elizabeth is strange mainly because they are disagreeing.
