Mike Eman who is a reporter said that,President Obama said he would not make a deal on trade if it will hurt the middle class citizens of the United States. Since he cares so much about them and because they make up the most of the country.a member of the House said that it is not good for women, it is not good for men, and it is not good for children. so not only is this not good but he said in his own words and I quote "hell no".The liberal group blast push US Pacific trade but there are a few problems.those in favor send the President to sell this on his own party turn on the party merits.many lawmakers given the president fast track with red and the car and he's already left know that without the TPA the training party or not do their best since the US government is not in total control of what is going on, so they will not participate so they do not lose money.
my reaction to this when I first to read it course in different because I figured that since it was trading the US will gain some money, but I realize since the other countries will not participate,the US will lose money.I personally don't know what to think or have any connection to this and so this article really had nothing to do with me it says it has something to do with money and says money makes the world go around I guess it kind of has something to do with me my chick a shin and the way I live in the US.

Last year in Ferguson, Missouri, immense riots broke out in regards to the death of African American teenager, Michael Brown. Although the event occurred over a year ago, many people are still rioting. To prevent this from carrying on, the Missouri National Guard are calling them "enemy forces" and are creating roadblocks to prevent further riots. The intense tension between the two sides are rising. To counter their attempts, the protesters are coming out to protest anyway. They feel disrespected and as a result will do anything to prove their point. The mayor of Missouri is confused on how to handle the subject but trusts the National Guard to take great control of the situation.
I believe that the mayor of Missouri should take more control of his city and not leave things to the National Guard because it will only make tension worse. I think the protesters need to make a bigger stance and show them that they deserve equality. A connection I can make is that the National Guard controlling people is the same as the government controlling the people.

Article title: SEPTA Cracks Down On Dancers Using Trains To Bust A Move

The police are cracking down on the dancers that are using SEPTA as a way to bust a move. These problem has led to many arrest from dancing on the trains. There is little room on the train, where the men find a way to bust a move for money. During the time they want to bust a move is during rush hour where many people are riding the train. These people pick this time because this is the best time to dance for money because there is many people around. These men call themselves Project Positive. Some people are getting entertained and other are annoyed. Some people said when there outside or on an platform you can walk away but not when you are riding the train waiting for your stop. And normally when they're doing this there is no cops around to stop them. Others like it, because they say "Freedom Of Speech", they think people should be able to do whatever they want. Damon Holley a man that's apart of the group says they don't mean no harm but he won't be dancing on trains no more. I think that these men are doing what they know best. And they are trying to find away to show what they know best.

ISIS is gaining recruits mainly through the media. Through video footage of what ISIS has been doing, and news broadcasts, many recruits have come in. They also use propaganda to gain supporters. For example, they may have a movie preview style video that shows a beheading, but tries to portray it in a good way. That is another way they are gaining recruits. Plus, it's easy for recruiters to come in because once one person joins ISIS, they can easily call their friends back home and get them to join ISIS as well.
This honestly makes me a little scared. If people from the U.S are easily joining ISIS, then ISIS could easily come into the United States. But, I feel as though the U.S are coming up with a plan to stop this. Especially knowing how powerful ISIS is. I can connect their propaganda to how presidents use it to gain support. But, ISIS is using it for a bad cause, and presidents use it for something good.

Idahoan nurse, Anna J. Smith sued the federal government last year stating that the US counterterrorism program NSA was violating citizens of their 4th Amendment prohibits searches without an legal document such as a warrant. This has been NSA’s third time appeals court around the nation confronted NSA. U.S. District Judge Lynn Winmill opposed Smiths claims but realize that it does violate some privacy that could go to the Supreme Court. The Federal Government repudiate that under the USA Patriot Act which is set to intercept terrorist attacks, and help from F.I.S.C agents by using phone records can help expose terrorist. The US Department of Justice says that this an important counterterrorism-program.
Nevertheless President Obama called a closure to stop and protect the millions of Americans who are not associated with terrorist groups. Similar to Smith's case is the 1979 Supreme Court Case verdict in Smith vs Maryland. This case stated that police could have your phone records because it’s not private because you give your information to your phone company. On contraire Peter Smith say these two cases are different back then they needed phone records but now NSA can see your medical information, and emotional state. Judges are in a deadlock to see if this case can stand in front of the Supreme Court.

: This is relevant because it is a onerous case that is violating our Fourth Amendment but on the opposite its good act of defeating terrorist attacks.When I read this article it really didn't bother me because I know it is for a good cause but it is kind of violating your right of privacy. I think Obama is right because hes is protecting the people who is not deemed as a terrorist.

On Friday December 12, 2014 the Iraqi city Mosul now under control of the terrorist group ISIS, after Friday's prayers were bombarded with armed troops. The troops handed out pamphlets about their new rules on female sex slaves. These new addition to the sex slave deal is that they can take non-muslims in captivity, even preadolescent females, and they have the right to trade them and buy them. However the Iraqi citizens did not take this new document lightly, creating protest gatherings. ISIS members believe that the woman's that they are taking into slavery are the women's of ISIS nemesis.
Many believe that this should not come as a shock because of the ISIS brutal tactics earlier in the year. In the pamphlets it says if she is a virgin they can have sexual intercourse soon as the ownership is fulfilled but if not you we will have to wait for the second menstrual cycle just to make sure she isn't expecting.ISIS believe that these pamphlets justifies slavery. ISIS got these ideas from ancient Middle Eastern and Mediterranean codes on war and imprisonment. Many lawyers believe that these codes are hypocritical and are just replying on male fantasies. This makes me sick because it is male's yet again

The USDA is saying that an average american is throwing away 36 pounds of food per month. That is 20 percent of the countries food wasted.Now agencies are telling people to think double before throwing some perfectly good food out. Food stamps are not exactly the most reliable thing when it comes to how fresh a food is. There is a new app called foodkeeper that tracks down how much food is reduced to waste through the U.S. food waste challenge. This app also gives good advice when it comes to cooking and also can see when certain foods expire according to when you get them. My reaction to this is that im pretty surprised that they have a app that keeps track of how food is being wasted. My opinion is that the FDA should have a say in this. this relates to civics because it has to do with the government. Summary/reaction/opinion/connection: Obama has since removed Cuba from the state sponsor of terror list. Cuba has been removed from this list for not displaying acts of terrorism over the past six months. In December, Obama and Castro discussed this removal; however, Obama did not decide to take action until now. The removal of Cuba from this list could lead to the opening of the U.S Embassy. Cuba was one of four countries that was on the terror list.
The removal of Cuba from this list essentially benefits both the U.S and Cuba. In a way I believe that this is a way for the U.S to make money. Although Cuba is a communist country, the fear of the spread of communism is not as prevalent. In addition, this mended relationship essentially leads to the opening of the U.S Embassy in the Havana. All in all this could potentially for a great thing for both parties.

This article is about Obama not keeping his promise he made to America specifically Armenian Americans . He made a promise in 2008 that he was gonna say that Armenia had a genocide and that he was going to jump in. Its now his 7 th year and he still has not kept his promise. Many celebrities are also calling this a genocide and they are sadden that nothing had taken action. He was against Bush's decision to not define or acknowledge the massacre of the turks and when he was elected he wanted to be a better president and do so. America doesn't really involve their self in other countries problem and for our president to say that he promises that he will acknowledge it and not keep his promise he hurted many Americans.
My reaction to this article is that it's disappointing when somebody says they gonna do something and don't do it especially when he's our president. I think she should have tried or made efforts to keep his promise. My connection is that although i'm not Armenia I am black and things go on in our country that needs to be addressed who's to say that if obama promised us something and say he's gonna do something and not do that will let down millions of black citizens who believed his word.

In recent drone strikes on Al-Qaeda, two hostages were killed. The CIA didn’t know of who had been killed until weeks after the deaths, even though they reported to have hundreds of hours of surveillance. Obama and other CIA officials were forced to speak on the results of their actions. Obama’s speech had a very sad and regretful tone, saying that he had “no words” to express how he felt about the lives that were taken. My reaction to the event is thats its sad, and that the CIA probably knew, but for the better of the U.S they had to make sure that their targets were eliminated. I think that ground soldiers should be used to scout areas before they are hit by drones. This connects to the less use of soldiers, by replacing them with drones.

Everyday that passes, ISIS grows stronger and smarter. Our president, Barack Obama want to do something about it. President Obama wants to send a request to take a fight to ISIS stop them. However Congress won't give him permission. Since the president has to get permission from Congress to send an army somewhere he couldn't do what he wanted. He argued with Congress back and forth about exceptions to the rule.
I think the president is going about this the right way. He is going through the proper channels and is thinking about our people. Its possible ISIS might grow so big that they might take over take over the ways of traveling in the Middle East and travel to other places like here in the U.S.
